The Terror Continues as the RAH Terrorists Terrorize

Note...there's more pictures to come! I have to get the film developed first though...

Ric and Shari Lee arrive in their Diamond Katana. John Ousterhout, BOb Urban and Tom Cooper come over to inspect the smooth as a diamond Diamond.
The ultralight contingent is out in force.
El Roto checks out the Quickie's cockpit. This small airplane is powered by a 20-hp engine, and can do 100 mph. It sounds a bit like a large single cylinder motorcycle when it gets going...
BOb U. checks out the bright red Pitts...
...which pilot Ty then simulates an engine fire on the takeoff roll...
...then proceeds to demonstrate the REAL meaning of a climb at Vx!
Last year we had the Grumman Gang. But this year we got the Tripacer Trio! The TriPacer pilots gather around Shaun's machine to compare notes.
And no rec.aviation fly-in would be complete without Tigger and Snowbird showing up!
And Snowbird brought her little 'un along, Snowball... Randi Marshall gives her a good looking-over.
Sadly, due to the demands of Snowball's alimentary canal, Tigger couldn't stay for long!
Saturday evening rolls around. The hangar fills with the usual suspects who then begin to endure the assaults of Road Kill catering, the jar of Muzzle Loader and Pasture Dave's poetry...
...and Pasture Dave is off, with Chuck Slusarcyzk and Tony Pucillo doing the guitar parts...
The Infamous Muzzleloader. Now does 97/98 refer to the octane rating, or the vintage? It's a question that's difficult to answer. The gathered Ilk managed to finish off the bottle on the right, all whilst governing themselves accordionly. It did actually taste pretty good if you could ignore the fact that it put holes in styrofoam cups... The 2K vintage had a pleasant bouquet. The 97/98 one didn't really have a bouquet, it sort of threatened...
More of the gathered throng watch in awe, as Chuck S. discusses how horseflies make good tow-planes.
Uh oh! Singing! From left to right, Pasture Dave, John Ousterhout, Ric Lee and Shari Lee sing an ode to Badwater Bill...
And even more singing, as Chuck S. and Tony P. start up again. Fortunately, the guitars are loud enough and the Muzzleloader dulls the senses sufficiently...
Sunday morning dawns a lot more brightly. The Pinckneyville environs as seen at around mid-day from Ric and Shari Lee's Diamond Katana. The Katana is a lot of fun!
A Pulsar zooms by.
