Pinckneyville 2002 Photos

Pinckneyville 2002 was a great success! About 35 people showed up, including most of the Ilk. Dave Hyde brought his "crash-n-burn" videotapes along, showing lots of very interesting PIOs. Lots of flying broke out on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, and of course, we had an excellent hangar flying session all weekend (remember: the "f" is silent in hangar flying!) On Saturday evening, we paid tribute to Tony Pucillo, a member of RAH, the defender of the RAH-15, and regular attendee to the P'ville flyins who will be sorely missed. Dave Pincus set up his video camera so we could give a tribute to Tony that'll be sent to his wife.

The weather was good pretty much all weekend except for Friday where it was cold, windy and rainy, forcing us campers to set up camp in the ultralite hangar!

Dave: I think I'm going to make mine fly-by-wire. Gary: Bwahahahahaha! Oysterhouse: Right, I'm fetching the FAA's mental health inspectors.
